Just-Sailing, a new  South Jersey non-profit group which teaches sailing skills and promotes water recreation, is holding an interactive presentation on the problem of marine debris, Wednesday, April 18th, from 4:30- 6:30p.m. at Lake Lenape East in Mays Landing.

Rachael Miller, founder/director of the Rozalia Project for a Clean Ocean will host a brief, interactive discussion about ocean trash, followed by a demonstration of the ROV (remotely operated vehicle) the group uses to hunt for and clean up trash in the water.

In 2011, Rozalia Project picked up and cataloged over 12,500 pieces of trash from the surface of the seafloor along the Northeast coast.

The seminar is free, but donations toward the project are gladly accepted.  Call Jessica for information or to pre-register at 609-214-5176.
