As recently reported by Courier Post, AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in New Jersey at the end of last week was $2.64, up three cents from the week prior. This time last year, motorists were paying $2.33 a gallon.

However, the decrease in crude oil prices last week could stabilize the gas industry and halt further hikes.

The United States has been embroiled in a dangerous situation with Iran since the January 3rd killing of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps General Qasem Soleimani, ordered by the Trump Administration.
