See 6 Dogs Waiting to Be Adopted at Humane Society of Ocean City

For close to 15 years, at 7:10am every Thursday on the Lite Rock Morning Show with Eddie Davis, I have been welcoming a dog or cat from the Humane Society of Ocean City as the Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

Since the stay-at-home order and the closing of non-essential businesses, the adoption facility at the Humane Society of Ocean City has been closed, although the veterinary services remain open.

I have missed having the animals on my show and I know that you have missed hearing about them. The dogs and cats are still there, though, waiting for life to get back to normal so they once again have a chance to be adopted and find their forever home.

We thought it would be fun to feature a gallery of photos of some the animals who will soon be available for adoption from the Humane Society of Ocean City.

By the way the dog in the cover photo is Harvey. Here's what the Humane Society had to say about him:

"Harvey was found as a stray and was being fed by a few people until he was brought to us. He is a small lab mix, about a year old. He is good with dogs and cats, older children would be fine due to his energy level."
