Temps will be taking a nosedive for the next couple of days... We'll barley make it out of the teens for the highs and we'll be close to singe digits for the lows. Here's a re-cap from the National Weather Service on how to star warm and safe for the rest of the week:

To keep warm:

Wear layers of lightweight but warm, loose-fitting clothes.

Wear mittens instead of gloves. They will keep your hands warmer

Cover your mouth to protect your lungs

Wearing a  hat will keep you warmer

More helpful tips:

Keep all  pets inside.

Stay inside as much as you can.

Limit travel. If you have to travel be sure to keep a winter survival kit in your car. Check your air pressure on your tires and make sure your heater and defroster are working properly.

Make sure you know how to shut off water valves in case your pipes freeze and burst.

Temps should warm up for this weekend... Stay safe and warm!
