Let’s face it, spring is one of the most beautiful seasons to go running. Here are some running tips from two-time U.S. Olympian Alan Culpepper. First, remember to emphasize cross-training  reduce the risk of injuries. Secondly, we should be spending 10-15 minutes stretching after every run. Lastly, Culpepper reminds us to drink water regularly throughout the day as well as right before a run to make sure we are not dehydrated before working out. These three tips may seem like common knowledge, but as we break from our tight muscles trapped in the winter season, we have to be sure we are properly preparing for our favorite running season - spring!
