If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters

This week we met Rocky the dog...

Here's some information on Rocky from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Rocky is a shepherd/border collie mix. He’s will be 2 in October. He is a higher energy dog that would love a home with a regular hiker or a daily jogger.

He didn’t have the best start with training so he will need someone that can keep up with working with him. Older kids would be fine. He is good with other dogs. No cats for him though as they are real fun to chase."

If you would like to visit Rocky or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 or stop in any day between 11a-3p.

To adopt from the HSOC you will need one form of identification, which includes your name, permanent address and proof of ownership (i.e., localtax stub). If you rent, written approval from your landlord is required as well as personal identification.
