With advancements in technology, many hospitals and medical institutes are using robotics to help surgeons with  joint replacement surgery. Among one of them is Rothman Orthopaedics in Egg Harbor Township.

Computer-assisted orthopaedic surgery utilizes 3D images of the specific joint to be replaced. Surgeons use this information to determine the right size and location of the replacement. This gives surgeons much more precise information, improving outcomes.

Orthopaedic Surgeon and Director of Orthopaedics at AtlantiCare, Dr. Fabio Orozco, explains how robotic-assisted surgery is a game-changer in joint replacement surgery for his patients.
