Most families have holiday traditions - they go see Santa, decorate Christmas cookies, and go hunting for some good Christmas lights or a stunning house tour.

There’s nothing like spending an afternoon marveling at some historic houses decked out for Christmas. Well South Jersey, hunt no further. Did you know Bridgeton is New Jersey’s largest historic district?

We didn’t either…this historic district has as many as 2,200 residential and commercial structures! From Palladian windows and columns, to Georgian, and Federal and Victorian style architecture. The bay windows and gingerbread trim will surely put you in the holiday mood!

But wait the deal just got sweeter; Bridgeton also offers an annual holiday house tour. I’m always down for gawking at houses filled with some holiday magic!

Not only do you tour the festive houses, but tickets also include a horse drawn wagon ride and Christmas caroling by the Off Broad Street Players from 3pm to 7pm on Saturday, December 3rd. WHAT a horse drawn wagon ride? I mean I don’t know about you guys, but you can sign us up right now!

Don't miss out! Start off this Holiday season with some family fun and may your December be jam packed with merry outings!
