Authorities in South Jersey say a man from Ohio has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of a man in Millville earlier this summer.

Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae says 30-year-old Darryl Wallace was charged with first-degree murder and related firearms offenses after being arrested in Phoenix, AZ, on August 12th.

According to a press release, "the charges stem from a June 24, 2021 shooting at the Carlton House Apartment Complex in Millville New Jersey. When the police arrived, the victim was located lying in the parking lot with a gun shot wound to his head."

The victim, 28-year-old Dominick Hull of Bridgeton, was transported to Cooper Hospital in Camden where he died about a week later from his injuries.

The state says video footage from the apartment complex shows Wallace approach a group of people and then he fires several shots at them, hitting Hull.

Wallace is currently being held in the Cumberland County Jail.
