Prom Season and Senior Weekend Starts in Wildwood

Prom season is here.

Starting this weekend, high school seniors will dress to the max with tuxedos and prom gowns. And, of course every prom season, students from schools across the tri-state area will head to hot spots along the Jersey Shore as Senior Week gets underway in Wildwood this week..

Wildwood once again will be a hot destination for post-prom activities. High school seniors will head to Wildwood's hotels, restaurants, boardwalk and beaches. However, not all the local residents are thrilled with the youth invasion.

Meanwhile, my son's senior prom is next week, and he's planning on heading to the Poconos after his prom. I know I will be stressing over this big-time. I've already had numerous talks with him on how to handle his after-prom activities.  Of course, he just thinks I'm over reacting.

And not to be outdone, we kick off prom season this Friday with the Lite Rock Second Chance Prom at the Renault Winery Golf and Resort in Egg Harbor City. This year our theme is the roaring 20's. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the South Jersey Field of Dreams.
