ABOUT THEODORE SPADY HALL: Theodore “Teddy” Spady came to The Atlantic City Resuce Mission in the late ’90s looking for help in getting back on his feet, within the mission’s halls he found it. After his stay at the mission he left when finding a job in construction. Ten years later, after leaving his construction position, Spady returned, taking a fifty percent pay cut to work at the mission.

Sadly he passed away of cancer in May 2014, The Theodore Spady Hall has been created and named after Teddy to honor and celebrate his enduring legacy of caring and commitment.

ABOUT THE ATLANTIC CITY RESCUE MISSION: The Atlantic City Rescue Mission (ACRM) was founded in 1964 by John Fink and provided hot food and shelter to a few homeless men from a small storefront in Atlantic City. Since that time, the Mission has added or expanded programs over the years in response to the growing and changing needs of the people they serve.
