There's been an abundant amount of potholes on our roadways due to the severe and brutal winter. There are so many that it's hard to keep track of all of them. You now have access to a online pothole map thanks to a new website called mappler.net/njpothole which was launched in February. 70 percent of all potholes reported have been labeled as dangerous.

According to the website creator the pothole map will alert you and help you avoiding driving into a massive pothole which could cause damage to your car.

The NJDOT has been asking for you help in reporting craters in the road.  You can call  800-POTHOLE or access their web site at www.state.nj.us/transportation/commuter/potholeform.shtm.

Over 160,000 potholes will be will be repaired this years according to the NJDOT.

Drive safe and watch out for the craters in the road!
