Paying Tribute to Our Heroes on Memorial Day 2013

Memorial Day is all about the bravery of those who have protected us and a day to remember the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.Here's a list of some of the Memorial Day events scheduled in South Jersey:

Egg Harbor City:

Memorial Day parade down Philadelphia Ave followed by program at 9:30 AM.

Sea Isle City:

Memorial Day Ceremony begins at 10 AM at  Veterans Park located on JFK BLVD and Landis Ave. There will be a wreath throwing ceremony into the ocean to honor naval veterans by the Beach Patrol.

Ocean City:

Memorial Day Service starts at 11 AM at Veterans Memorial Park, 5th and Wesley Ave.

Somers Point:

Memorial Day Parade starts at 11 AM at Dawes Ave school to Patriot Park, Bethel Road and First Street.
