Spring is just around the corner and before you know it will be summertime again in South Jersey. If you spend any time on the beach in Wildwood this summer you won't have to worry about paying to get on the beach. Unfortunately, you will be paying moreto park your car.   A quarter will now get you 7 ½ minutes at the parking meter. Last year, a quarter put 10 minutes on the meter. It will now cost $2 per hour to park for the 2013 summer season season.

Revenue from parking brought in $620,000. With the new increase the city will see an additional $50,000 in 2013.

Parking meters are in effect May 15 until Oct. 31.

Are you looking forward to summer?
