Ocean City High School track star Devon Grisbaum proved again Saturday that she is the best runner in New Jersey, easily winning the 3200 meter event at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions in Toms River.

Grisbaum won the race in 10 minutes, 45.2 seconds, more than two seconds in front of second-place finisher Eve Glasergreen of North Hunterdon at the race held in the John Bennett Indoor Complex.

Grisbaum is the first runner from the Cape-Atlantic League who has won Meet of Champions events in two different sports during the same season, having won earlier this year in cross country.

She will attend Vanderbilt University on an athletics scholarship next year.
