Sea Oats owner Skip Tolomeo told the Press of Atlantic City a deal has been reached to sell the building at 710 Asbury Ave and the store will close after Labor Day.

Sea Oats, which opened in 1980, was once one of six store locations in South Jersey, from Long Beach Island to Stone Harbor. The Ocean City store is the final location remaining.

For many customers, who fondly remember shopping at the store for decades, the announcement is another sad moment in 2020.
