The next time there is any question about police interaction with the public in North Wildwood, they can "go to the video".

Beginning today, police on patrol in North Wildwood will be equipped with body camera technology.

In addition to having in-car video cameras in patrol vehicles, officers will be equipped with the WatchGuard Vista Wearable Body Camera. It functions as a camera and DVR combination to collect video and audio evidence, according to the North Wildwood Police Facebook page.

According to Chief Matthew Gallagher “The use of the WatchGuard body cameras  will increase transparency and also provides an opportunity to capture the good work the police officers do on a daily basis.”
