Today will be the first day you'll  be able to go shopping at a indoor New Jersey shopping mall. Malls across the state have been closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

There will be rules and restrictions firmly in place when the doors finally open at all malls in the Garden State according to NJ.com.

Malls will only be able to open at 50% capacity and wearing a mask will be mandatory for customers and employees. You will not be permitted to enter the mall without wearing a mask unless you have a medical condition. Children under two will also not be required to wear a mask. Social distancing practices must continue

Food Courts will only be able to offer take out options only. Food Courts will remain closed for sitting and gathering purposes. Restaurants or eateries a the mall can offer outdoor dining. The rule on banning indoor dinning will now stand indefinitely.

Movie theaters that are part of the mall will not be able to open along with any type of arcade. You won't be able to valet park, use a vending machine, or rent a stroller for the time being.

The Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing will be open form 11 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday and from 11 Am to 5 PM  on Sunday.
