Nine Year Old Becomes Pilot for a Day With the 177th Fighter Wing

A local nine year old with  a severe medical condition got to live out his dream by becoming an official Air Force pilot for a day.   

Nine year old Jackson Sheppard who has battled  severe seizures, and Cerebral Palsy. Over 100 military personal showed up yesterday to cheer on Jackson as he ran onto the base of the 177th Fighter Wing in EHT.

According to  Colonel Kerry Gentry, "We're going to bring Jackson in, we're going to give him a mission brief, and  teach him a little bit about what it's like to be a pilot in the United States' Air Force."

What an awesome job by the 177th to make Jackson's dream come true.
