It's now down to 20 finalists for the coveted location of Amazon's HQ2 and the Garden State remains in the mix.

According to the New York Times, Newark, Philadelphia and New York City are still being considered as the prime location for the company's much publicized second headquarters.

Over 238 applicants vied for the possibility of having the retail giant set up shop in their town. Over 50,000 jobs could also become a reality for the winning destination. Amazon would invest more than $5 billion for the new location, according to SNJ Today.

Locally, Atlantic County submitted a bid pushing the proximity of Atlantic City International Airport.

The other 20 finalists include: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Ohio, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Miami, Montgomery County, MD., Nashville, Newark, New York, Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Raleigh, Toronto, Washington D.C.
