Navy Seaman from A.C. Deployed on Carrier in Indian Ocean

Here's an update on Atlantic City native Jimmie Robertson, now a U.S. Navy Master-at-Arms Seaman Recruit stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis in the Indian Ocean.

The John C. Stennis is deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

In this photo, we see Robertson firing an M8241 .50-caliber rifle during a live-fire exercise on the fantail aboard the John C. Stennis.

The Navy send me photos of sailors from South Jersey occasionally, as a way of helping us keep in touch with local friends whose military service has taken a long way from home. Stay safe Mr. Robertson and thanks for your service.
