Nationally Celebrated Group”Dallas Brass”Joins South Jersey School Bands In Concert[VIDEO]

The 4th Annual Artist in Residence Concert featuring  the well-known brass quintet, "Dallas Brass", happens Thursday, March 8th in the Concert Hall at the George L. Hess Educational Complex in Mays Landing.  The concert will also feature band students from12 South Jersey area school districts.  What a thrilling and a memorable night of music it will be for these young... band students to play in the same show with a professional touring band!

Participating school bands include students from William Davies Middle School,  Hess School,  Reeds Road Elementary School, Arthur Rann Elementary School, Smithville Elementary School, Galloway Township Middle School, and Oakcrest, Absegami, Cedar Creek, and Mainland High School Bands.

This is a special return engagement to the Hess School Concert Hall  for Dallas Brass, the brass quintet founded in 1983 by Michael Levine.  The Dallas Brass has become one of America’s foremost musical ensembles. The group has established a unique blend of traditional brass instruments with a full complement of drums and percussion.
