Police in Middle Township are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted for the shooting and attempted murder of a Whitesboro man.

Police are trying to find Daquann Smith, 19. They say back on December 18th, in the Edgewood section of the township, Smith shot Jahquees Johnson, 20.

The investigation led prosecutors to file charges against Smith, including "Attempted Murder, a first degree crime, Aggravated Assault with a Handgun, a second degree crime, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a second degree crime, and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, a second degree crime."

Police say they don't know where Smith is, and are asking for the public's help. They say he is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. If you can assist police, you're urged to contact the Middle Township Police Department Major Crimes Unit at 609-465-8700.
