Every Thursday morning at 7:10 am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Michelle the dog.

Here's some information on Michelle from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

"Michelle is a 3-year-old English Bulldog that was discarded by a breeder. She is looking for a laid-back home where she doesn't have to work anymore.

She likes gentle strolls around the block and does have spurts of running around in the yard and even venturing into the kiddie pool.

Michelle has some genetic bulldog deformities with her elbows and knees. This doesn't currently bother her but in the future, she will need some upkeep.

She has done fine with most male dogs but does not like female dogs or cats. She is a big girl that likes to throw her weight around in the yard so older kids would be fine with her. We don't want her knocking over little ones"
