Meet The South Jersey Field of Dream’s New Mascot [VIDEO]

Meet Goodwin the Gopher the newest member and mascot of the South Jersey Field of Dreams.

Goodwin was introduced as the offical mascot this past weekend. The South Jersey Field of Dreams is a specially constructed baseball field designed to let physically and cognitively impaired children experience the joy of playing our nation’s pastime. The Field is located at Jonathon Pitney Recreation Park in Absecon.

The league consists of fourteen teams, 285 athletes from 33 communities in six counties. Goodwin was a big hit with the children and put a smile on everyone’s face.
