McDonald's Offering Free Meals For Essential Personnel

McDonald's is looking to extend a helping hand to all of our health care workers, paramedics, police officers and firefighters.

You've heard of the Happy Meal....but now McDonald's has introduced the "Thank You Meal."

All of our essential personnel can get a free Thank You Meal at any participating McDonald's free of charge through May 5th and it is available for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Here are the menu options:

Breakfast: Egg McMuffin, Chicken McGriddles or a Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit. All come with hash browns and any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee.

Lunch/Dinner: Double Cheeseburger, Six-Piece Chicken McNuggets or a Filet-O-Fish Sandwich. And just like the breakfast menu, all options come with a side of small fries and any size soft drink, tea or hot coffee.

The only catch is that there is a limit of one meal per person per day. Also, be prepared to show your employee ID or badge to get the free meal.

I must say....I think this is perfect.

Imagine coming home after working a 12-hour shift knowing that you have to get right back into the grind early the next morning. The LAST thing you want to do is cook.

OR if you worked late the night before and have zero energy to make breakfast before going in for another day. Again, the LAST thing you want to do is cook.

Our essential personnel has been doing so much for us.

Little things like this which help to kick-start their day or fill their stomachs is the least we can do.
