Marvin Has Looks and Personality – Pet of the Week

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.
All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.
This week we met Marvin the cat....
Here is some information on Marvin from the Humane Society of Ocean City:
“Marvin came in to the shelter by an Ocean City resident that said he found him as a stray. Although it was obvious that Marvin was someone’s pet at some point, he was in bad shape when he arrived. He was under weight and had patches of fur missing all over his body exposing open oozing lesions. He was nicknamed “Starvin Marvin” due to his ferocious appetite. He has since filled out beautifully and is free of any skin irritations.
Marvin is extremely playful and seems to prefer the company of women. He’s loaded with personality and his bright blue eyes will definitely warm your heart. Do to his past skin issues Marvin should only have a grain free, limited ingredient food. These types of food can be found at any pet store. Marvin would prefer to be king of his domain but would probably be ok with other cats and/ or dogs. He most likely would do best would do best with children 12 and over. Come Visit Marvin and find out if he can fit into your household.
If you would like to visit Marvin or need more information about any animal up for adoption at The Humane Society of Ocean City, call 609-398-9500 or stop in any day between 11a-3p.
