Major Heat Continues in South Jersey

It's going to be a another sweltering day here in South Jersey. The heat index has reaches 100 degrees as of 10 am this morning. Today could also be one of the worst days of the heat wave. Because of the heat officials have advised you to stay inside when possible and protect your pets from the heat as well.

Forecasters say thunderstorms and a cold front are expected to arrive late Saturday, bringing an end to the latest heat wave for the summer of 2013.
