Every Thursday morning at 7:10 am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Luna the dog.

Here's some information on Luna from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Luna is a super sweet and affectionate pup. She is a little stressed out from shelter living, so the sooner we can find her a happy and loving home that she can call her own, the better.

She is very entertaining to watch and super fun to play with. She can get a little over-excited and mouthy but NOT in an aggressive manner.

Luna would definitely appreciate someone willing to put in the time and training to help make this good dog great.

Luna is about 1 1/2 years old. She is a spayed female, mixed-breed dog, who has made a long journey from Puerto Rico to Ocean City in hopes of finding a forever home.

She would potentially do well with a very tolerant dog and she is hoping for a fenced-in yard to run and play. Sorry, no cats please."
