People who play the lottery are a superstitious bunch... and maybe with good reason.

Blitz's Hole in the Wall Market on Bayshore Road in Villas, long considered a lucky place to buy lottery tickets, especially since selling a Mega Millions ticket worth over $80 million in 2007, has sold another big money lottery ticket.

A Powerball Lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold at the store Wednesday.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, a man called Blitz's Thursday to say he was on his way to lottery headquarters in Trenton after buying the winning ticket at the store that matched all five numbers but not the Powerball number.

Wednesday's winning numbers were 23-25-39-54-67. The Powerball, which the $1 million ticket didn't have, was 11.

No one won the the jackpot, which will increase to an expected $70 million for the next drawing on Saturday.
