Whatever you can bring. Ready-made food, tuna, canned chicken, peanut butter, microwave meals; personal care items – deodorant, shampoo, and tampons are low. Big men and plus-size women’s clothing, new socks and underwear in all sizes are also in demand.  Men’s boots and jeans; outerwear (coats, gloves, scarves for all ages); pet supplies (littler/litter pans); kids pull-up diapers; adult diapers; gifts cards. 

Shore VETERINARIANS,  6633 Black Horse Pike Egg Harbor Twp. will be collecting non-perishable animal and people food 7 days a weel Monday-Saturday 8 to 8 and Sunday 8 to 4.

Re/Max Community in Mays Landing is collecting donations and is taking them to the different shelters and places in need! Help in the relief efforts of Hurricane Sandy: drop off donated items at Remax Community and we will disburse the items to our local shelters in need. Please drop off during our office hours M-F, 9am-5pm…and Saturdays 10am-1pm. The Remax Community office is located in Mays Landing, 700 Route 50 (corner of 7th & Route 50).  Ladies Choice ob/gyn is collecting baby, infant and children’s clothing for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. We will also take other clothing as well. If interested please drop off at Ladies Choice ob/gyn 314 Chris Gaupp dr. suite 101 Galloway, NJ 08205.

JFS Distribution and donation center at St. James Church on Portland Ave in Ventnor will be open Monday-Friday 11-2. Red Cross will be there every day serving hot lunches and lots of great stuff to those who need.

 The Hurricane Sandy NJ. Relief Fund, chaired by First Lady Mary Pat Christie will help collect and distribute resources to rebuild New Jersey communities, aide in the recovery effort and fill in the gaps when people need help. 100% of the proceeds will be spent in New Jersey.

The Humane Society of Atlantic County at 1401 Absecon Boulevard in Atlantic City, needs volunteers to help hand out pet food 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and needs donations of non-clumping cat litter, bleach, fabric softener, laundry soap, Clorox Cleanup, paper towels, Formula 409 cleaner, toilet paper, Lysol, industrial trash bags, and Lowe’s and Home Depot gift cards. Galloway Township Elks at 120 S. New York Road, Galloway, is collecting trash and lawn bags; baby supplies; pet food; blankets and towels; flashlights; paper plates, cups and napkins; and toiletries of all kinds Nov. 15 to Nov. 18. Call 609-377-5697.

Samaritan's Purse Local Base at the Linwood Community Church 609-927-2950, free debris removal, cleaning and mold prevention. First priority given to uninsured and under-insured properties.

Hammonton First is assisting the United Way in Atlantic and Cape May counties. Donations may be dropped off at 206 Bellevue Ave. at the Hurricane Sandy Donation Center. Residents may call 609-742-1333 for pick up of donated items.  Hammonton First will deliver all of the donated items to the Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Pleasantville, which is an officially designated distribution center. Call 609-742-1333.

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission most needs new men’s and women’s socks and underwear in larger sizes; adult diapers in larger sizes; baby diapers in large and toddler sizes; Ensure; towels, twin sheet sets and blankets; coats; sneakers and walking or work boots; and first night kits of toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, socks. Brigantine Community Center at 265 42nd St., needs paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and baby care items for its Community Distribution Center, a coordinated relief effort for neighborhoods and people of Brigantine Beach affected by Hurricane Sandy. Sea Isle City Hurricane Food and Clothing Drive for city hurricane victims. Donations may be dropped off at VFW Post 1963, located on JFK Boulevard at the foot of the Sea Isle Bridge. Monetary donations may be made at any 1st Bank of Sea Isle City location or mailed to 4301 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. Donations to the Ocean County Hurricane Relief Fund can be made by phone or mail to United Way of Ocean County at 732-240-0311 and/or 650 Washington Street, Suite #2, Toms River, NJ 08753.

The Mystic Island (Little Egg Harbor) food pantry for hurricane Sandy Relief needs the following items: tuna fish, canned spam, beef stew, chilli, gravies, broths, light bulbs, mops. The pantry is at Great Bay Plaza between Mathistown Road and Center Street.

Tuckerton Elementary School is taking donations from 8 a.m. to noon daily at the school at 213 Marine Street in Tuckerton. Use left rear entrance near the cafeteria.
