John Mellencamp & Steven King’s New Musical To Open[VIDEO]

Singer John Mellencamp's collaboration with writer Steven King is set to open  in April.  The musical, "Ghost Brothers of Darkland County", has been in the works for 12 years!

Mellencamp told USA Today he's excited to see the southern Gothic musical using his music.. and lyrics, with story by King, finally come to the stage.  "I think it's going to be one of the best original American musicals in quite some time.  I am more thrilled about this than anything I've done in my whole life. I'm pretty pumped up!"

The production will run from April 4th to May 13th at the Alliance Theater in Atlanta.  No word yet on the release date for the 3-disc soundtrack album.
