John Mayer Has Throat Surgery

John Mayer had surgery for throat inflamation that forced him to cancel his shows... Doctors removed a growth called granuloma from just above his vocal cord...

I'm not a doctor but this sounds pretty serious and painfull..  His new album is also being delayed... Hopefully he'll be back better than ever!!
