In my opinion, there's nothing better than taking a road trip during the summer with a full tank of gas and a hot cup of 'Joe'. There are countless scenic drives all over the Garden State with so many stunning scenes courtesy of our beautiful beaches, lakes and mountains.

The folks at Thrillist are at it again, ranking the most scenic drive in every single state and according to the list, the most scenic drive in all of the Garden State comes courtesy of Rt. 49!

Rt. 49 according to Wikipedia, is located in South Jersey and runs for over 53 miles from an interchange with the Delaware Memorial Bridge extension of the Turnpike. Rt 49 also continue north as Rt. 130 to Rt. 50. It also passes through Salem, Atlantic and Cape May counties. You can see a little bit of what makes  New Jersey so special by taking a scenic drive on Rt. 49.

Do you have a scenic route to share with us?
