Humpback Whale Enjoys a Fall Day at This Jersey Shore Beach

Fall is in full swing. The leaves are changing rapidly, football rules your Sunday, Halloween is right around the corner, and soon the sound of jingle bells will be in the air. The only thing left over from summer is the weather, and honestly, I'm loving every minute of it.

This weekend felt more like a weekend in July than October. Cape May Whalewatchers posted photos of a humpback whale and 50 dolphins enjoying the day at the beach over the weekend in Belmar in Monmouth County.

NJ.com reports that the best time for whale watching is the second week in November. The next couple of weeks are also an ideal time due to the warm weather and before some whales head south for the winter.
