How You Can Meet ‘Stranger Things’ Gaten Matarazzo in South Jersey

Are you a fan of Stranger Things? The popular 80's Sci-Fi Netflix original has been all the rage since it debuted in 2016. Actor Gaten Matarazzo, Dustin in the show, is from South Jersey and will be making an appearance this weekend in the area. Matarazzo, originally from Little Egg Harbor, was born with cleidocranial dysplasia (CCD), "...a condition that primarily affects development of the bones and teeth."

Matarazzo will be in South Jersey for a fundraiser for the organization CCD Smiles, which raises awareness for CCD and raises money to help support those diagnosed with dental care. The actor will be at the Holiday Inn in Manahawkin for Gaten's Angels for CCD Smiles 2019.

The event will be held on Sunday, March 3rd from 3:00pm-7:00pm. Tickets are on sale from now until Saturday, March 2nd. The event page states, "All proceeds will go to CCD Smiles! Your ticket includes a buffet with non-alcoholic beverages cash bar will also be available. There will be gift auctions, 50/50's, and a door prize..."

Fans can take a selfie or receive an autograph from Gaten for an additional cost, all will benefit CCD Smiles.
