The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association made the decision to sanction girls wrestling in 2019, but the Holy Spirit Spartans do not offer a girls team. However, that didn't prevent freshman Alexandria Graffius from making history on Wednesday night, becoming the schools first ever female wrestle to compete for the boys program.

Graffius was the Spartans entry at 113 in 3 minutes, 24 seconds. But Graffius made history at Holy Spirit, being the first female to wrestle in the program.

She battled with Vineland sophomore Dominic Bosco, before finally being pinned at the 3 minute, 24 second mark of the match.
