Holy Spirit Girls Crew Team Finish with a Win At Championships in Tennessee

A successful year for the Holy Spirit girls lightweight-eight crew team ended with a win Sunday during the final day of the USRowing Youth National Championships in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  The Spartans won the 2000 meter final in their division, one of three divisions in the event. The win gave the Spirit Ladies... a seventh place overall finish out of 22 boats in their category.

Congratulations to the Holy Spirit girls Crew Team consisting of Katie Bainbridge, Tara Puhalski, Shannon LaSala, Nicole Maslowas, Cailin McCully, Caroline Bradley, Tori Light Danielle Peck, Tara Puhalski and coxswain Kiersten Stone.

This weekend was just the latest impressive showing for Coach Rory Roberts squad from Holy Spirit who earlier this year won the Scholastic Rowing Association of America Regatta and their second straight Stotesbury Cup Regatta.  All of the team members are non-seniors, so you can expect big things for the Spartan Ladies again next year!
