Holiday Food Drive Stops This Weekend in Marmora & Galloway
It is that time of the year again! Won't you please help us with the Lite Rock Holiday Food Drive? This weekend leading up to Thanksgiving we will be at two different South Jersey ShopRites collecting food for the hungry in South Jersey.
Each year the Community Food Bank of New Jersey Southern Branch and their partners feed over 900,000 hungry people.
For many years during the holiday season, Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG has been involved in helping. Each November we call on the kindness of our listeners to donate the food items needed to keep the pantries at the Food Bank open.
Check out the upcoming stops below to drop by with a donation of either food or a monetary donation.

- Sat 11/4 - Somers Point ShopRite
- Sat. 11/11- ShopRite of English Creek
- Sat 11/18 - Shoprite of Marmora from 10a-noon
- Sun 11/19- ShopRite of Galloway from 10a -noon

High Protein Items:

- Canned tuna or salmon

- Beans – canned or dry
- Peanuts, sunflower seeds, almonds
Fruits & Vegetables:

- Dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, prunes)
Mixed Items:
- Macaroni & cheese
- Canned soups
- Canned stews, chilli
- Ravioli, Spaghettios, etc.

- Breakfast cereals (whole grain)
- Oatmeal
- Rice
- Pasta (whole grain)

Holiday Items:
