Just in time for Memorial Day Weekend, ground will reportedly be broken in Egg Harbor Township as early as Monday to accommodate a new Walmart Supercenter and several eateries.

Shore News Today, reports the vacant Atlantic City Electric building at the intersection of Fire Road and Black Horse Pike is flagged to be razed next week to make way for the new Walmart location.

The area will soon be transformed into a 120,000-square-foot shopping center to be called Oak Tree Plaza. And you'll be able to eat as well as shop as the plaza will also be home to Chick Fil-A, Petco pet food store, Panda Express, and Applebee's, according to developer Wolfson Group.

Awesome - a whole new place for people to fight over TV's and pasta strainers on Black Friday! We'll be waiting!
