Six Flags Great Adventure is looking to open their theme park as soon as they get the go-ahead from Governor Murphy.

Some of the new systems in place will be thermal temperature scanning of all the guests and employees as they enter the park to assure that no one has a fever.

There will also be high-tech security screenings that will allow touch-less bag screenings as you enter the park.

The Safari at Six Flags Great Adventure opens this Saturday, May 30th and there are new measures in place for this year.

You no longer will be riding along with dozens of other people. You will now be driving through the safari in your vehicle like back in the good ol' days.

According to their website:

Admission to Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure is $17.99 per person and free to Six Flags Members and Season Pass Holders. Tickets or Passes must be purchased ahead of your visit, and reservation is required for entry. Click HERE to purchase tickets for the Safari
