Spring officially arrives today at 12:57 PM as the vernal equinox occurs. It couldn't happen soon enough for all of South Jersey. Can we finally say see ya to the winter of 2014?

It's been a wild and crazy winter with fluctuating temperatures and plenty of snow storms. We've had near record levels of cold thanks to the Polar Vortex and one snow storm after another. We set a record on Jan 4th and 30th when it dropped to minus 3 degrees at Atlantic City Airport.

The latest snowfall on Monday brought the total to 39.6 inches at Atlantic City International Airport. The winter of 2104 will put us in the top 10 for snowfall for our area.

We may have to go through one more round of cold weather and maybe the possibility of another snow-storm early next week... Keep the shovels hand for just a little longer.. Enjoy the warm weather and the first day of Spring in South Jersey.
