Girl Seriously Hurt in Northfield Car Crash

A 17-year-old girl has suffered serious injuries following an accident in Northfield yesterday afternoon.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of Country Club Drive and Shore Road. The girl's vehicle was struck by a norhtbound truck as she was trying to make a left onto Shore Road.

Northfield Fire Department, AtlantiCare Paramedics and Tri-Care EMS were on the scene of the accident to help remove the girl from her vehicle. The accidnet is being investagated by the Northfield Police and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
