The last year has brought many changes in the lives of Upper Township couple Jay Polli and his fiancee Jenn.

In April of 2014, the Atlantic City casino worker was diagnosed with a kidney disease that forced him out of his job and on to dialysis.

Since then, the couple have undergone a roller coaster of blood work, lab tests, painful dialysis and medication. Jay and Jenn need financial assistance with hospital co-pays, medication and countless expenses not covered by insurance.

They welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Francesca during Jay's diagnosis with IgA Nephropathy, which has destroyed both of his kidneys..

Bon Cheveux Salon at 46 Roosevelt Boulevard in Marmora is hosting a fundraiser for Jay Polli this Sunday, April 26th from 2p-5p.

Jay will undergo a kidney transplant this spring and as the transplant gets closer they are asking for your support. Jay has been out of work for nearly a year and his fiancee Jenn lost her job right after his first hospital stay.

If you are unable to attend Sunday's fundraiser, a gofundme.com page has been set up to help Jay.
