Thousands of soldiers from New Jersey are among those spending this winter on deployments in Afghanistan and six other countries around the world.  They are a long way from home and their loved ones, serving America and doing their duty.  Please help us remember them with Lite Rock's Valentine's for the Troops?  We're sending love from South Jersey to America's soldiers, including thousands with the New Jersey Army... National Guard, stationed abroad.

Now in its 7th year, Lite Rock's Valentine's for the Troops collects your homemade valentines, small teddy bears and boxes of chocolate, which we turn over to American Recreation Military Services for shipment to our soldiers abroad.

We could especially use the help of schools, businesses, churches and civic groups!  Please consider  holding a group valentine collection or  valentine-decorating party for our effort?   If you are apart of a group helping Lite Rock with Valentine's for the Troops, please let us know in the comments section below.

You may drop off your Valentine's for the Troops at the Lite Rock studios,  950 Tilton Road in Northfield, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. & 5 p.m.   The deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, February 10th.

Thank you, and happy Valentine's Day from South Jersey's Number One At-Work Radio Station, Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG!
