The 2020 school year wasn't a conventional one due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the show must go on as they say, and area seniors at Lower Cape May Regional high school got a special message from former Eagles pro bowler Jon Dorenbos.

Dorenbos who played with the Eagles from 2006-2016, started by doing one of his well known magic tricks, and signing "congratulations to you', in the tune of 'Happy Birthday'.

He delivered a virtual graduation address to the graduating class of 2020 at Lower Cape May was powerful and uplifting message saying that something positive can come out of all this, that they are different and can help make the world a better place.

Dorenbos spent 10 seasons with the Eagles before being traded to the New Orleans Saints, where it was revealed that he had a aortic aneurysm, which required immediate heart surgery, ending his pro football career.
