Cape May's 5th annual Harbor Fest, now a full three-day festival, takes place today thru Sunday (6/15-6/17) along Delaware Avenue.

Harbor Fest, a combined effort of the Nature Center of Cape May and the Chamber of Commerce, was originally a one-day event... focusing on the history and importance of commercial fishing in the Nation's Oldest Seaside Resort.

Now, it has expanded to be a full-blown weekend festival bringing in crowds in the thousands!

Saturday is still the main day of the weekend and features food, beer and crafts vendors, live music, a rock climbing wall,  water taxis, sailing, boat tours, bird watching,  and much more.  Author workshops and seminars detailing the history of the Cape May Harbor are also planned.

New to Harbor Fest is  "Super Sport Sunday" with a variety of fitness-geared contests like a bicycle scavenger hunt, the kayak regatta, and - new this year - the "Anything That Floats But a Boat Regatta"!
