Welcome to Lite Rock's Weekend Happenings!  Here are Five Things Not to Miss this weekend in South Jersey....

1- Legendary funny man Rob Schneider at Borgata Saturday, Jan 11.  The 90's SNL cast member and star of "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" is in town for a set of stand up at The Music Box. Schneider is now starring in the  Netflix docu-series ‘Real Rob’.

2- Philadelphia welterweight Jaron Ennis , that's147 pounds, is undefeated and an upcoming star in the boxing world. “Boots” Ennis is 24-0 with 22 knockouts. Ennis will face Bakhtiyar Eyubov (14-1-1, 12KOs) on Friday, at Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort. The main event will feature Claressa Shields and Ivana Habazin. The fight card will also be shown on Showtime.

3- Van Halen Nation claim to be the premier 80’s tribute to the “Diamond Dave” era of Van Halen. Check out how this South Jersey band’s authenticated performances replicate Van Halen’s action-packed, high intensity shows Saturday, Jan 11 at Millville's Levoy Theatre.

4-The Atlantic City International Motorcycle Show is happening at the Showboat Convention Center & Hotel this Friday -Sunday, Jan 10-12. featuring a great collection of bikes, a swap meet, vendors, tattoos, and live music.

5- Jill Snyder's glass mosaics show  "Peace by Piece" at the Ocean City Arts Center, 1735 Simpon Ave. running thru Jan 31  is the first solo show of mosaics by Atlantic County's Jill Snyder.

A "Meet the Artist" reception will be held Friday, January 10, 7pm - 8:30pm. Light refreshments will be served. Stop in to check out Jill's fabulous work.
