If at first the pandemic ruins your plans to present a high school version of the sprawling musical, Les Misérables, try and try again.

Egg Harbor Township High School's presentation of Les Misérables, the stage adaptation of Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel of the same name will finally debut Wednesday, April 6 at the high school. The original plan to present the musical last spring became one of the many casualties of COVID-19.

The epic story of Les Misérables recounts the struggle against adversity in 19th century France. Les Misérables has had three runs on Broadway – one of which earned it eight Tony Awards – and has toured the world.
