Atlantic City Airport will conduct an Emergency Exercise this Saturday starting at 8AM. This will be a full scale exercise in emergency preparedness.

If you live in the area expect to see  smoke and emergency equipment in use from 8 a.m. to noon as the simulation exercise gets underway.

The full-scale exercise is done every three years in compliance with federal regulations.  It's also used to evaluate emergency plans if there was an accident at the airport. The plans will be used by the airport, federal state, county and local response agencies.

The airport will be open and no roads will be closed. Expect to see emergency vehicles on Tilton Road near the airport this Saturday starting at 8 AM.
